Ch. 245 1996 LAWS OF MARYLAND CHAPTER 245 (House Bill 568) AN ACT concerning Hazardous Waste Management - Term of a Permit for Controlled Hazardous Substance Facilities FOR the purpose of extending the maximum term of a permit for a controlled hazardous BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, Annotated Code of Maryland SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF Article - Environment 7-238. (a) (1) Unless it is renewed for another term, a facility permit expires on the (2) . Unless the controlled hazardous substance facility is a low-level nuclear (b) The Department may renew a facility permit if the permit holder: (1) Has complied with all appropriate rules and regulations; (2) Pays to the Department the renewal fee set by the Department; and (3) Submits to the Department a renewal application on the form the SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect Approved April 30, 1996. - 1730 -
