SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section(s) 1-207(f) of Article - Financial Institutions of the
Annotated Code of Maryland be renumbered to be Section(s) 1-207(g).
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of Maryland
read as follows:
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That:
(a) The Office of the State Bank Commissioner shall conduct a study of the
technological feasibility of listing, on the screen of an automated teller machine, the
amount of the fee to be charged to a customer for using the automated teller machine.
(b) On or before December 31, 1996, the Bank Commissioner shall report the
results of the study to the General Assembly, in accordance with § 2-1312 of the State
Government Article.

(a) (1) In this section the following words have the meanings indicated.
(3) "Access device" has the meaning stated in Federal Reserve Board
Regulation E, 12 C.F.R. Part 205.
