AN ACT concerning

Community Colleges of Baltimore County - Board of Trustees - Chancellor

FOR the purpose of allowing the Chancellor of the Community Colleges of Baltimore
County to serve in a certain capacity on the Board of Trustees of the Community
Colleges of Baltimore County; allowing the Chancellor to execute certain
documents under certain circumstances; altering the style for the name of the Board
of Trustees; and generally relating to the Chancellor and the Board of Trustees of
the Community Colleges of Baltimore County.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Education

16-202.

(a) Each board of trustees:

(1)     Shall elect one of its members as its chairman;

(2)     [Shall] EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN § 16-204.1(F) OF THIS SUBTITLE,
SHALL choose the president of one of the county community colleges to serve as
secretary-treasurer of the board; and

(3)     May elect any other officer it requires.
