and issued, sold, and delivered in accordance with §§ 8-117 through 8-124 of the State
Finance and Procurement Article and Article 31, § 22 of the Code.
Chapter 597 of the Acts of 1987
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND. That:
(1) The Board of Public Works may borrow money and incur indebtedness on
behalf of the State of Maryland through a State loan to be known as the General
Construction Loan of 1987 in the total principal amount of [$99,839,000] $99,694,000.
This loan shall be evidenced by the issuance, sale, and delivery of State general obligation
bonds authorized by a resolution of the Board of Public Works and issued, sold, and
delivered in accordance with §§ 8-117 through 8-124 of the State Finance and
Procurement Article and Article 31, § 22 of the Code.

(1) Renovate Central Kitchen, provided that no funds may
be expended until the Department of General Services
obtains an independent analysis of the needs and cost of
this project and the budget committees review that

Chapter 298 of the Acts of 1988
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That:
(1) The Board of Public Works may borrow money and incur indebtedness on
behalf of the State of Maryland through a State loan to be known as the Controlled
Hazardous Substance Cleanup Loan of 1988 in the total principal amount of
[ $3,000,000] $634,927. This loan shall be evidenced by the issuance, sale, and delivery of
State general obligation bonds authorized by a resolution of the Board of Public Works
and issued, sold, and delivered in accordance with §§ 8-117 through 8-124 of the State
Finance and Procurement Article and Article 31, § 22 of the Code.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the moneys credited to the
Law Enforcement and Correctional Training Fund under this Act shall be used
exclusively for the purposes of design, equipping, and construction of the PUBLIC
SAFETY TRAINING CENTER. WHICH INCLUDES THE Law Enforcement Driver
Training Facility. FURTHER PROVIDED THAT NO FUNDS MAY BE EXPENDED
UNLESS;
