for the purposes provided in this Act. Any amount of the loan in excess of the amount of
the matching fund certified by the Board of Public Works shall be canceled and be of no
further effect.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1996.

AN ACT concerning .

Workers' Compensation - Occupational Diseases - Volunteer Advanced life Support

Unit Members

FOR the purpose of providing that, under certain circumstances, certain volunteer
advanced life support unit members are presumed to have an occupational disease
that was suffered in the line of duty and is compensable under the workers'
compensation law; providing that, under certain circumstances, certain treatment of
certain individuals who are diagnosed with certain diseases is compensable under
workers' compensation law; and generally relating to the compensability of
occupational diseases under the workers' compensation law.
