1996 LAWS OF MARYLAND

(2) If a health maintenance organization classifies an
obstetrician/gynecologist as a primary care physician as provided under paragraph (1) of
this subsection, and a woman does not choose an obstetrician/gynecologist as her primary
care provider, the health maintenance organization shall permit the woman to receive an
annual visit to an in-network obstetrician/gynecologist for routine gynecological care
without requiring the woman to first visit her primary care provider, whether or not the
primary care provider is qualified to and regularly provides routine gynecological care.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1996. It shall remain in effect for a period of 6 years and, at the end of
September. 30, 2002, with no further action required by the General Assembly, this Act
shall be abrogated and of no further force and effect.

AN ACT concerning

Maryland Affordable Housing Trust - Membership of the Board of Trustees

FOR the purpose of altering the membership of the Board of Trustees of the Maryland
Affordable Housing Trust.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 83B - Department of Housing and Community Development

Section 11-103

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1995 Replacement Volume)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 83B - Department of Housing and Community Development

11-103.

(a)     A board of trustees, appointed by the Governor with the advice and consent of
the Senate, shall control the Trust and shall exercise all of its corporate powers.

(b)     The Board of Trustees shall consist of 11 voting members and, as ex officio
nonvoting members, the Secretary of the Department of Housing and Community
Development, a member of the House of Delegates of Maryland appointed by the
Speaker of the House, and a member of the Senate of Maryland appointed by the
President of the Senate.

(c)     (1) The Board of Trustees shall include [ a] ONE representative of each of
the following:
