AN ACT concerning

Charles County - Women's Commission

FOR the purpose of authorizing the County Commissioners of Charles County to
establish a Charles County Women's Commission; and specifying that the County
Commissioners may take any additional action concerning the administration and
operation of the Women's Commission that the County Commissioners consider
appropriate.

BY adding to

The Public Local Laws of Charles County

Section 140-1 to be under the new chapter "Chapter 140. Women's Commission"

Article 9 - Public Local Laws of Maryland

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 9 - Charles County

CHAPTER 140. WOMEN'S COMMISSION
140-1.

A.      THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS MAY ESTABLISH BY ORDINANCE OR
RESOLUTION A CHARLES COUNTY WOMEN'S COMMISSION.

B.       THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS MAY TAKE ANY ADDITIONAL ACTION
CONCERNING THE ADMINISTRATION AND OPERATION OF THE WOMEN'S
COMMISSION THAT THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS CONSIDER APPROPRIATE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1995.
