AN ORDINANCE concerning:

Zoning and Grading - Combustion Ash

FOR the purpose of eliminating the filling of land with combustion ash as a conditional
use. in all industrial districts and making it a use permitted by special exception;
adding criteria related to buffers, amount of fill permitted, access, traffic and roads,
grading, stormwater management, hours of operation, archeological preservation,
cover material, and monitoring of ground and surface water; defining certain terms;
making a technical correction; and generally relating to the filling of land with
combustion ash

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments:

Article 21, §§ 2-207(3)(vi) and 2-313(b); and Article 28, § 4-305(4A) and 4-405
Anne Arundel County Code (1985, as amended)

BY adding:

Article 21, §2-313(i) and (j); and Article 28, §§ 1-101(24A), 4-104(1A), and
12-221.1

Anne Arundel County Code (1985, as amended)

BY repealing:

Article 28, §§ 4-103(b)(3), 4-304(b)(l), and 4-404(b)
Anne Arundel County Code (1985, as amended)

BY renumbering:

Article 21, § 2-313(i) to be § 2-313(k); and Article 28, §§ 1-101(24A); 4-304(b)(2)
and (3); and 4-404(c) and (d) to be §§ 1-101(24B); 4-304(1) and (2); and
4-404(b) and (c), respectively
