It is the intent of the General Assembly that the
Deputy Secretary for Operations consolidate
electronic data storage and retrieval systems in
the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene
wherever possible so as to eliminate redundant
systems and maximize the efficient, cost
effective use of new systems by more than one
departmental unit.

Funds are appropriated in the Local and
Family Health Administration budget to pay
for services provided by this program.
Authorization is hereby granted to use these
receipts as special funds for operating
expenses in this program.
