against the peace, government, and dignity of the State."; of

(ii) "That A-B on the..........day of................nineteen hundred and

............... at the County (City) aforesaid, unlawfully, while under the influence of alcohol,

did kill C-D, against the peace, government, and dignity of the State."

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1995.

Dear Mr. Speaker:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland Constitution, I have today
vetoed House Bill 1043.

This bill provides that loans from the Maryland Seafood and Aquaculture Loan Fund may
be used to start a seafood processing or aquaculture operation.

Senate Bill 743, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by me on May 9,
1995, accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign House
Bill 1043.

AN ACT concerning

Maryland Seafood and Aquaculture Loan Fund

FOR the purpose of providing that loans from the Maryland Seafood and Aquaculture
Loan Fund may be used to start a seafood processing or aquaculture operation;
altering the limit on the amount of a loan made from the Fund; altering the
minimum amount of the investment a loan applicant is required to make; and
generally relating to loans from the Maryland Seafood and Aquaculture Loan Fund.
