VETOES

classified employees of the Department of Business and Economic Development to
participate in certain pay increases; requiring any employee of the Department of
Business and Economic Development who is in the classified service of the State
Personnel Management System on a certain date to remain in the classified service,
under certain circumstances; clarifying the effect of certain changes made in this Act;
transferring certain provisions of law; defining certain terms; repealing certain
obsolete provisions and clarifying language; extending the termination provision
for certain programs; providing for the transfer of certain employees under certain
conditions; making provisions of this Act severable; requiring the publishers of the
Annotated Code and the Department of Legislative Reference to propose and make
certain revisions to the Code; and generally relating to the creation and operation of
the Department of Business and Economic Development and the Department of
Labor, Licensing, and Regulation, the transfer of certain units of State government
to create the new Departments, and the reorganization of State government.
