Funds are appropriated in the Executive
Department - Boards, Commissions and
Offices budget to pay for services provided
by this program. Authorization is hereby
granted to use these receipts as special
funds for operating expenses in this
program.

23.05.02.01 Capital Appropriation

General Fund Appropriation, provided that
$40,000,000 $0 of this appropriation is
contingent upon the enactment of
legislation transferring a portion of the
Maryland Automobile Insurance Fund
surplus to the general fund; and further
provided that of this amount, $20,000,000 $0
will be used for school construction projects
statewide and the remaining $20,000,000 $0
will be used to construct school facilities in
Prince George's County to implement a
plan to eliminate court ordered school
busing. Further provided that no part of this
appropriation may be used to pay the
salaries of state permanent or contractual
employees to administer this program.........
