1995, accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign Senate
Bill 2.

AN ACT concerning

Elections - Anne Arundel County - Democratic Party Central Committee

FOR the purpose of altering the membership and procedure for electing the members of
the Anne Arundel County Democratic Party central committee.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article 33 - Election Code
Section 11-2(f)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1993 Replacement Volume and 1994 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 33 - Election Code

11-2.

(f) (1) In Anne Arundel County, the members of the Republican Party central
committee for the county shall be elected as follows: 3 members from each legislative
district wholly contained within Anne Arundel County and 1 member from that portion
within Anne Arundel County of any legislative district that is partially contained within
Anne Arundel County.

(2) In Anne Arundel County, the members of the Democratic Party central
committee for the county shall be elected as follows: 3 members [each from legislative
districts 31, 32, and 33, and 3 members from legislative district 30 including that portion
of the population located in Anne Arundel County that is a part of legislative district 29]
FROM EACH LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT WHOLLY CONTAINED WITHIN ANNE ARUNDEL
COUNTY AND 1 MEMBER FROM THAT PORTION WITHIN ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY OF
ANY LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT THAT IS PARTIALLY CONTAINED WITHIN ANNE
ARUNDEL COUNTY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1995.
