(C) THE RIGHTS, REMEDIES, AND PROHIBITIONS PROVIDED UNDER THIS
SUBTITLE SHALL BE IN ADDITION TO AND CUMULATIVE OF ANY OTHER RIGHT,
REMEDY, OR PROHIBITION PROVIDED UNDER COMMON LAW, FEDERAL LAW, OR
ANY OTHER LAWS OF THIS STATE, AND NOTHING CONTAINED IN THIS SUBTITLE
MAY BE CONSTRUED TO DENY, ABROGATE, OR IMPAIR ANY SUCH FEDERAL OR
STATE COMMON-LAW OR STATUTORY RIGHT, REMEDY, OR PROHIBITION.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1995.

AN ACT concerning

Prince George's County - Task Force on Education Funding

FOR the purpose of establishing a Task Force on Education Funding to explore the
possibility of giving the Prince George's County Board of Education the authority to
impose taxes to support the public schools in the county; specifying the membership,
duties, and staffing of the Task Force; requiring the Task Force to issue a certain
report and hold certain hearings; providing for the termination of this Act;
providing for the effective date of this Act; and generally relating to a Task Force on
Education Funding in Prince George's County.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That: the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

(a) (1) In this section the following words have the meanings indicated.

(2)     "Chamber of Commerce" means the Chamber of Commerce of Prince
George's County.

(3)     "County Board" means the Prince George's County Board of Education.
(4) "County Council" means the County Council of Prince George's County.
