SUBTITLE 3. LICENSURE AND REGULATORY AUTHORITY.
6A-301.
(A) A PERSON MUST HAVE A LICENSE TO;
(1) CONDUCT A NONPROFIT OR CHARITABLE GAMBLING EVENT OR
OPERATION AUTHORIZED BY LAW;
(2) OPERATE A CASINO AS AUTHORIZED BY THIS TITLE;
(3) OPERATE A COMMERCIAL BINGO ESTABLISHMENT AUTHORIZED BY
LAW;
(4) OPERATE A GAMBLING ESTABLISHMENT AUTHORIZED BY LAW,
OTHER THAN A CASINO OR A COMMERCIAL BINGO ESTABLISHMENT; OR
(5) OPERATE AS A GAMBLING EQUIPMENT SUPPLIER.
(B) THE COMMISSION MAY EXEMPT BY REGULATION FROM THE LICENSURE
REQUIREMENT UNDER SUBSECTION (A) OF THIS SECTION, ANY CHARITABLE OR
NONPROFIT GAMBLING EVENT, OPERATION, OR ORGANIZATION THAT IS
REGULATED BY A COUNTY.
(C) THE AUTHORITY AND DISCRETION TO ISSUE A LICENSE UNDER THIS
SUBTITLE RESTS SOLELY WITH THE COMMISSION.
6A-302.
(A) TO QUALIFY FOR A LICENSE, AN APPLICANT SHALL BE A PERSON WHO
MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS SECTION.
(B) THE APPLICANT, IF THE APPLICANT IS AN INDIVIDUAL, OR EACH
INDIVIDUAL HOLDING A SUBSTANTIAL INTEREST IN AN APPLICANT, SHALL:
(1) BE OF GOOD CHARACTER AND REPUTATION;
(2) BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD; AND
(3) MEET ANY OTHER QUALIFICATIONS THAT THE COMMISSION
ESTABLISHES BY REGULATION.
(C) IN ADDITION TO THE QUALIFICATIONS SPECIFIED IN SUBSECTION (B) OF
THIS SECTION, AN APPLICANT FOR A LICENSE TO OPERATE AS A GAMBLING
EQUIPMENT SUPPLIER IN THE STATE SHALL DEMONSTRATE THAT THE GAMBLING
EQUIPMENT THE APPLICANT PLANS TO SELL OR LEASE CONFORMS TO STANDARDS
ESTABLISHED BY REGULATIONS OF THE COMMISSION AND STATE LAW.
6A-303.
(A) AN APPLICANT FOR A LICENSE SHALL:
(1) SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO THE COMMISSION ON THE FORM THAT
THE COMMISSION REQUIRES; AND
