Ch. 558

1995 LAWS OF MARYLAND

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 2 of this Act shall
remain effective for a period of 2 years and, at the
end of June 30, 1997, with no further
action requir
ed by the General Assembly, Section 2 of this Act shall be abrogated and of
no further forc
e and effect.

SECTION 4. 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1995. th
e terms of the initial members of the Casino Night Commission shall expire
as follows;

(1) 3 members in 1996;

(2) 3 members in 1997; and

(3) 3 members in 1998.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Article 27, §
258B(c)(3)(iv) and (9) 258B(c) and (d) and § 2-309(r)(8)(vi) of Courts and Judicial
Proceedings Article
as enacted by Section 1 of this Act shall remain effective for a period of
2 years from the effective date of this Act, and at the end of 2 years, with no further
action required by the General Assembly, Article 27, § 258B(c)(3)(iv) and (9) 258B(c)
and (d) and § 2-309(r)(8)(vi) of Courts and Judicial Proceedings Article
of the Code as
enacted by Section 1 of this Act shall be abrogated and of no further force and effect.

SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 2 of this Act shall take
effect on the termination of Article 27, § 258B(c) as enacted by Section 1 of this Act.

SECTION 4. 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That except as provided in
Section 4 of this Act,
this Act is an emergency measure, is necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public health and safety, has been passed by a yea and nay vote
supported by three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the two Houses of the
General Assembly, and shall take effect from the date it is enacted.

AN ACT concerning

Motorcycles - Special Registration Plate for Members of Motorcyclist Organizations

FOR the purpose of authorizing the owner of a motorcycle who is a member of certain
motorcyclist organizations to apply to the Motor Vehicle Administration for the
issuance of a special registration number for the motorcycle under certain
circumstances; clarifying language; providing for the effective date of this Act; and
generally relating to the issuance of a special registration number for a motorcycle
owned by a member of certain motorcyclist organizations.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
