"NOTICE

THIS PUBLICATION IS NOT ISSUED BY AN INSURANCE COMPANY NOR IS IT

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, on or before October 1,
1997, subject to the provisions of § 2-1312 of the State Government Article, the Secretary
of State shall submit a report to the General Assembly concerning the number of
voluntary noncontractual religious publication arrangements that have submitted a
registration statement in accordance with Title 6, Subtitle 4 of the Business Regulation
Article and the number of complaints, if any, filed against such arrangements.

SECTION 3. 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 1 of this Act
shall take effect October 1, 1995, and remain in effect until October 1, 1997.

SECTION 4. 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 2 of this Act
shall take effect October 1, 1997. It shall remain effective for a period of one year and, at
the end of September 30, 1998, with no further action required by the General Assembly,
this Act shall be abrogated and of no further force and effect.

(House Bill 287)

AN ACT concerning

Boating - Operating or Attempting to Operate a Vessel While Intoxicated or Under the

Influence

FOR the purpose of prohibiting a person from operating or attempting to operate a vessel
while the person is under the influence of a combination of one drug or more drugs
and alcohol under certain circumstances; providing that a person charged with a
violation relating to of operating or attempting to operate a vessel while intoxicated
or under the influence of alcohol, drugs, a combination of drugs, a combination of
one or more drugs and alcohol, or a controlled dangerous substance may be found
guilty of any lesser included offense of a related violation certain provisions of the
State Boat Act.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
