Article - Financial Institutions

(c) The Division Director, Division staff, and members of the immediate families
of the Division Director and Division staff, as defined in [Article 40A, § 1-201(q) of the
Code] § 15-102 OF THE STATE GOVERNMENT ARTICLE may not accept, directly or
indirectly, any gift, gratuity, or remuneration of any type from any savings and loan
association or related entity or from any director, officer, controlling person, employee, or
agent of any savings and loan association or related entity.
(d) (1) The Division Director, Division staff, and members of the immediate
families of the Division Director and Division staff as defined in [Article 40A, § 1-201(q)
of the Code] § 15-102 OF THE STATE GOVERNMENT ARTICLE may not become indebted
to any association or related entity that is subject to the jurisdiction of the Division
Director.

(c) All members of the Advisory Committee shall be subject to all applicable
requirements of [Article 40A -] THE Maryland Public Ethics Law [of the Code].

(b) This section is intended to be read in conjunction with and to supplement the
provisions of [Article 40A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (Public Ethics Law)] THE
MARYLAND PUBLIC ETHICS LAW, but in the event of any conflict, the requirements of
this section shall prevail.

(b) (1) (ii) A REGULATED lobbyist, as defined WHO IS DESCRIBED in
[Article 40A, § 1-201 of the Code] § 15-102 § 15-701(A)(1), (2), OR (3) OF THE STATE
GOVERNMENT ARTICLE, may not offer or agree to solicit or secure a procurement
contract under this subtitle if the lobbyist's fee is contingent on, or results from, the
making of the procurement contract.

(b) The rules may supplement but may not be inconsistent with the provisions of
[Article 40A of the Code] THE MARYLAND PUBLIC ETHICS LAW that relate to
members of the General Assembly.
