1995 LAWS OF MARYLAND

(B) TO ENSURE THE INTENT OF THIS SECTION IS CARRIED OUT, THE COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS MAY:

(1)      INSPECT AND AUDIT THE RECORDS OF A HOMEOWNERS
ASSOCIATION RECEIVING FUNDS FROM THE SPECIAL TAX TO THE EXTENT
NECESSARY TO ADEQUATELY ACCOUNT FOR THE DISPOSITION AND EXPENDITURE
OF THE FUNDS; AND

(2)     ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH A HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION
GOVERNING THE USE AND ADMINISTRATION OF ANY FUNDS TO BE RECEIVED FROM
A SPECIAL TAX.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1995.

AN ACT concerning

Proration of Fees for State Licenses Issued under Business Occupations and Professions

Article

FOR the purpose of requiring a unit of State government that issues a license at a certain
time to prorate the amount of the fee charged for the license providing that a
certain fee certain fees for certain licenses issued at a certain time certain times shall
be prorated on a certain monthly basis charged to the license applicant; limiting the
scope of this Act; defining certain terms; and generally relating to the proration of
fees charged by certain units of State government for licenses.
