(e) Immoral or indecent behavior.

(p) Any other willful or flagrant violation of rules and regulations of
the Sheriff's office.                           

(q) Any conduct prejudicial to the best interests of the office of the
Sheriff.

(3) Any member so suspended or removed may appeal to the Board of
Public Safety. The Board shall consider the facts and hear the parties in the case and may
affirm, modify or repeal the action of the Sheriff as, in the judgment of the Board, will be
most beneficial to the county and most equitable to the appellant.]

G. The County Commissioners of Charles County are hereby authorized and
empowered to provide clerks for the Sheriff of the county, such clerks to be selected by
the Sheriff. They shall have such duties as may be assigned to them by the Sheriff and
shall be subject to his direction and supervision and removable by him at any time and
shall receive such salary as may be fixed by the County Commissioners from time to time.
The clerks shall not be deemed a part of the office of the Sheriff nor entitled to the
benefit of pension laws for members of the office.

H. The Sheriff or a person authorized by him:

(1)     May destroy any contraband article or goods seized by or delivered to
the office after removing any money contained therein.

(2)     Shall sell at public auction all lost, abandoned, unclaimed, forfeited or
undistributed contraband or stolen property remaining in the possession of the office for
a period of [six (6)] 6 months without a lawful claimant.
