AN ACT concerning

Education - Jack F. Tolbert Memorial Student Grant Program

FOR the purpose of altering the amount of state aid to the Jack F. Tolbert Memorial
Student Grant Program; establishing additional requirements for private career
schools at which grant funds may be used; and generally relating to the Jack F.
Tolbert Memorial Student Grant Program and private career schools.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Education

18-1201.

There is a program of private career school student grants in this State, known as
the Jack F. Tolbert Memorial Student Grant Program, that are awarded under this
subtitle.

18-1205.

(A) A private career school student grant may be used[:

(1) At] AT a private career school in this State that:

[(i)] (1) Is approved by the Maryland Higher Education Commission;
