AN ACT concerning

Prince George's County Board of Education - Elected Member - Definition

FOR the purpose of altering the definition of an "elected member" of the Prince
George's County Board of Education to include a member appointed to fill a
vacancy in the office of an elected member.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Education

3-802.

(a) In this subtitle, "elected member" means one of the nine elected and voting
members of the Prince George's County Board OR A MEMBER APPOINTED TO FILL A
VACANCY OF ONE OF THESE NINE MEMBERS.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1995.

Risk Retention Groups and Financial Guaranty Reinsurance Companies - Location of

Office, Assets, and Records

FOR the purpose of eliminating the exemption of certain risk retention groups financial
guaranty companies risk retention groups from certain requirements as to the
location of the office, assets, and records of those risk retention groups financial
guaranty companies risk retention groups; exempting certain financial guaranty
reinsurance companies from the requirement of having an office in the State;
