PARRIS N. GLENDENING, Governor                             Ch. 365

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, notwithstanding the
provisions of §§ 7-208(b), (d), and (g)(1) and 14-915(1) of the Tax - Property Article, the
respective collectors of State and county property taxes may governing body of Baltimore
City shall grant a refund of property taxes paid for the tax years July 1, 1976 through June
30, 1994, by a disabled veteran who would have qualified for an exemption under §
7-208(b) of the Tax - Property Article for those tax years, except for the requirement to
apply for the exemption, if the to the surviving spouse of the disabled veteran if the
surviving spouse of the disabled veteran applies for the refund on or before December 31,
1995.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1995.

AN ACT concerning

Vehicle Combinations - Flammable Liquids

FOR the purpose of authorizing the transport of flammable liquids by certain vehicle
combinations under certain circumstances; and generally relating to vehicle
combinations and flammable liquids.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 24-104.2
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1992 Replacement Volume and 1994 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Transportation

24-104.2.

(a)     Notwithstanding any other provision of this title and subject to subsections
(b), (c), and (d) of this section, a person may operate a semitrailer (single) in combination
with a truck tractor that exceeds 48 feet in length up to a length not to exceed 53 feet.

(b)     (1) A vehicle combination described under subsection (a) of this section
may be operated only on:
