8-1608.

THE SECRETARY MAY ADOPT REGULATIONS TO IMPLEMENT A
SELF-EMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO,
CRITERIA FOR APPROVAL OF PROGRAMS THAT PROVIDE SELF-EMPLOYMENT
ASSISTANCE ACTIVITIES AND ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ACCEPTANCE INTO AND
PARTICIPATION IN THESE PROGRAMS.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, this Act may not be
implemented until any plan required by the United States Department of Labor is
approved.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That subject to Section 4 of
this Act, this Act shall remain effective until June 1, 1999, and with no further action
required by the General Assembly, this Act shall be abrogated and of no further force
and effect.

SECTION 3. 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
terminate as provided in Section 3 of this Act, as of the effective date of the withdrawal
of approval of any plan required by the United States Department of Labor, or as of the
week preceding the week containing the date when federal law no longer authorizes
self-employment assistance programs, whichever is earlier.

SECTION 4. 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, subject to Sections 2
and 3 4 of this Act, this Act shall take effect October 1, 1995.

Health Maintenance Organizations - Benefit Package Limited Set of Health Benefits

FOR the purpose of providing that a health maintenance organization is not required to
include certa
in health-care services in a benefit package for may provide a limited
set of health benefits to certain individuals under certain circumstances; making this
Act an emergency measure; and generally relating to health maintenance
organizations and the services that are included in a benefit package authorizing
health maintenance organizations to offer a limited set of health benefits to certain
individuals under certain circumstances.

BY repealing and reenacting, without amendments,
