(2) AT THE REQUEST OF THE COMMISSION, THE STATE'S ATTORNEY
SHALL IN
STITUTE AND PROSECUTE ANY VIOLATION OF THIS TITLE. .

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the terms of the initial
m
embers of the Maryland Milk Commission shall expire as follows:

(1) two members in 1997;

(2) two members in 1998; and

(3) three members in 1999.

SECTION 3. 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October July 1, 1995. It shall remain effective for a period of 1 year and 6 months and, at
the end of December 31, 1996, with no further action required by the General Assembly,
this Act shall be abrogated and of no further force and effect.

(House Bill 627)

AN ACT concerning

Insurance - Unfair Trade Practices - Actual Expenses for Placement of Policies through
and Accident History Reports - Maryland Automobile Insurance Fund

FOR the purpose of altering certain actual expenses that an agent or broker may charge
and collect for the placement of automobile insurance through the Maryland
Automobile Insurance Fund;
authorizing the Maryland Automobile Insurance Fund
to sponsor an agent, broker, or premium finance company agent or broker to obtain
certain accident history reports under certain circumstances; authorizing an agent;
brok
er, or premium finance company agent or broker to obtain accident history
reports under certain circumstances; permitting an agent, broker, or premium
financ
e company agent or broker to charge and collect certain actual expenses for
obtaining accident history reports under certain circumstances; defining a certain
term; making stylistic changes; and generally relating to the charging and collection
of certain actual expenses related to and obtaining certain accident history reports
for the placement of policies through the Maryland Accident Insurance Fund.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article 48A - Insurance Code
Section 230(b)

Annotated Code of Maryland
(1994 Replacement Volume and 1994 Supplement)

BY adding to
