Ch. 264                                    1995 LAWS OF MARYLAND

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Courts and Judicial Proceedings

2-508.

(a)     In Prince George's County, there is the Office of the Director of Assignments
of the Circuit Court.

(b)     The Office of the Director of Assignments of the Circuit Court shall:

(1)     Schedule all juvenile matters, civil, criminal, and domestic relations
cases, and all other proceedings before the Circuit Court; and

(2)     Perform all other duties as directed by the [circuit and] county
administrative [judges] JUDGE of Prince George's County OR THE JUDGE'S DESIGNEE.

(c) Pursuant to the Maryland Rules, the [circuit and] county administrative
[judges] JUDGE of Prince George's County shall:

(1)     Appoint the Director of Assignments; and

(2)     Supervise DIRECTLY OR THROUGH A DESIGNEE the functions and
employees of the Office of the Director of Assignments.

(d) Prince George's County shall fund all salaries and other expenses of the
Office of the Director of Assignments of the Circuit Court.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1995.

(House Bill 474)

AN ACT concerning

Prince George's County - Alcoholic Beverages
(21st, 22nd, 24th, and 25th 25th, 26th, and 27th Alcoholic Beverages Districts)

PG 322-95

FOR the purpose of extending the prohibition on the issuance or transfer of certain
alcoholic beverages licenses within the 21st, 22nd, 24th, or 25th 25th, 26th, or 27th
alcoholic beverages district in Prince George's County under certain circumstances;
requiring that certain alcoholic beverages districts at all times be coterminous with
certain legislative districts, as determined by the Prince George's County Board of
Supervisors of Elections; describing the constituent parts of certain alcoholic
