13-411.1.

(A)    IN THIS SECTION, "REGISTRATION PLATE COVER" MEANS ANY TINTED,
COLORED, PAINTED, MARKED, OR ILLUMINATED OBJECT THAT IS DESIGNED TO
COVER ANY OF THE CHARACTERS OF A VEHICLE'S REGISTRATION PLATE.

(B)     A PERSON MAY NOT SELL OR OFFER FOR SALE A REGISTRATION PLATE
COVER.

(C)     A PERSON MAY NOT ADVERTISE FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROMOTING THE
SALE OF REGISTRATION PLATE COVERS.

27-101.

(a)     It is a misdemeanor for any person to violate any of the provisions of the
Maryland Vehicle Law unless the violation is declared to be a felony by the Maryland
Vehicle Law or by any other law of this State.

(b)     Except as otherwise provided in this section, any person convicted of a
misdemeanor for the violation of any of the provisions of the Maryland Vehicle Law is
subject to a fine of not more than $500.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1995.
