(I) CONTINUES SENIORITY AND LEAVE ACCRUALS BASED ON THE
OFFICER'S REGULAR PAY; AND
(II) DOES NOT LOSE HEALTH CARE BENEFITS WITH THE SUBSIDY
ALLOWED IN TITLE 8 SUBTITLE 1 OF THE STATE PERSONNEL AND PENSIONS ARTICLE
SOLELY BECAUSE OF USE OF THE WORK-RELATED ADMINISTRATIVE LEAVE.
(4) AN OFFICER MAY NOT RECEIVE TEMPORARY TOTAL DISABILITY
BENEFITS UNDER THE MARYLAND WORKERS' COMPENSATION ACT WHILE THE OFFICER
IS RECEIVING PAYMENT UNDER THIS SECTION.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That it is the intent of the
General Assembly that State Police officers who are granted administrative leave be
compensated at a pay rate consistent with that provided other State employees receiving
workers' compensation type benefits;

effect October 1, 1995.

AN ACT concerning
Property Tax - Exempt Organizations - Leased Land American Association of Blood
Banks, Incorporated
FOR the purpose of including under a certain property tax exemption land leased by
certain organizations and appurtenant to an improvement owned by the exempt
organizations exempting from State property tax a certain portion of real property
that is owned or leased by the American Association of Blood Banks, Incorporated
under certain circumstances; authorizing the governing body of Montgomery
County to grant, by law, a property tax credit against a certain portion of real
property that is owned or leased by the American Association of Blood Banks,
Incorporated under certain circumstances; and generally relating to a property tax
exemption for certain exempt organizations.
