for the construction of the Maryland Technology Center
(Montgom

(E) (B) Inner Harbor Visitors Center. Provide a grant to the Mayor
and City Council of Baltimore to assist in the design of a visitors
center to be located at the Inner Harbor in Baltimore City ,
provided that attractions and events throughout the Stale are promoted
at this facility. Further provided that the scope of this project does not
exceed 7,958 gross square feet

DEPARTMENT OF THE ENVIRONMENT

By June 30, 1996, the Department of the Environment shall cancel all
encumbrances for projects with unexpended balances from bond
authorizations prior to FY 1987 for all programs receiving 1995 bond
authorization. It is the intent of the General Assembly that funds
which remain unencumbered from bond authorizations prior to FY
1987 for which 1995 bond authorizations have been approved be made
available for new projects in FY 1997.
