8-723.

(c) Subject to available income, the Department may employ necessary personnel
subject to the provisions of the State Personnel AND PENSIONS Article that govern
classified service employees.

8-725.4.

(b) (1) Except as provided in subsection (d) of this section, a person may not
operate a vessel on the tidal waters of the State so as to exceed a noise level of [75db(a)]
75DB(A), measured from a point on shore using generally accepted testing procedures
imposed by regulations adopted by the Department based on the Marine Environment
Sound Level Measurement Procedure, SAE J 1970.

(2) (i) Except as provided in subsection (d) of this section, a person may
not operate a vessel on the nontidal waters of the State so as to exceed the following noise
levels:

1.       For engines manufactured before January 1, 1993, a noise
level of [90db(a)] 90DB(A); or

2.       For engines manufactured on or after January 1, 1993, a
noise level of [88db(a)] 88DB(A).

9-105.

(a) In order to establish a lien under this subtitle, a person entitled to a lien shall
file proceedings in the circuit court for the county where the land or any part of the land
is located within 180 days after the work has been finished or the materials furnished. The
proceedings shall be commenced by filing with the clerk, the following:

(1) A petition to establish the mechanic's lien, which shall set forth at least
the following:
