Ch. 120 1995 LAWS OF MARYLAND (1) Four members shall serve as ex officio members and shall be (i) The Secretary of the Environment or the Secretary's designee; (ii) The Secretary of LABOR, Licensing, and Regulation or the (iii) The State Superintendent of Schools or the Superintendent's (iv) A representative of the Maryland Higher Education Commission; (2) One shall be a representative of an educational institution in the State; (3) Two shall be representatives of organized labor; (4) Twelve shall be representatives of manufacturing enterprises and should (i) Representation from varied geographic regions of the State; (ii) Representation from varied sectors of manufacturing, balancing (iii) Representation from the mix of manufacturing enterprises in the (5) One shall be a representative of business organizations. (e) (1) The term of a member is 3 years and begins on July 1. (2) The terms of the members are staggered as required by the terms (3) Any member is eligible for reappointment, but after serving for 2 (4) A vacancy shall be filled immediately for the remainder of the unexpired (5) A member shall hold office until a successor has been appointed.
