AN ACT concerning
Procurement - Minority Business Participation
FOR the purpose of continuing until a certain date the certain provisions of the State
Procurement Law relating to procurement from minority businesses; repealing a
definition; glorifying altering a definition altering the percentage of the total dollar
value of procurement by units of State government that is made directly or
indirectly from certified minority businesses in a certain manner; altering certain
provisions relating to the structure of procurement procedures by units of State
government; altering certain reporting requirements; repealing the termination
provision for certain provisions; repealing obsolete provisions; requiring a certain
study and the issuance of a certain report by a certain date; altering the
circumstances under which certain security may be required on a procurement
contract; making provisions of this Act severable; providing for the termination of
this Act; and generally relating to minority business participation in State
procurement.
