PARRIS N. GLENDENING, Governor Ch. 97 (e) (1) If the Secretary corrects a birth, death, or fetal death record, the (2) If a discrepancy exists between the record of the Secretary and the 4-207. (a) (1) Each certificate of birth, death, or fetal death shall be[: (1) Typed or written plainly] TYPED OR PRINTED LEGIBLY in [indelible] (2) [Signed by the individual who is required to make the record.] THE (b) A certificate is not complete or correct if it does not give each item of required 4-211. (a) Except as provided in subsection (c) of this section, the Secretary shall make (1) The individual was born in this State; and (2) Regardless of the location, one of the following has occurred; (i) The previously unwed parents of the individual have married each (ii) A court of competent jurisdiction has entered an order as to the (iii) If a father is not named on an earlier certificate of birth: 1. The father of the individual has acknowledged himself by 2.
