1995 LAWS OF MARYLAND

Article 25 - County Commissioners

10.

[(a)]The County Commissioners of Cecil County may adopt and amend from time
to time a building code to provide for the construction, maintenance and repair of any
and all buildings and structures, located or to be located in the county, to provide for the
appointment of inspectors for the enforcement thereof, and to provide penalties for the
violation of the building code. The building code may incorporate by reference any code
or part thereof proposed by any governmental agency or any trade or professional
association for general distribution in printed form as a standard model on any subject
relating to construction, maintaining or repairing buildings or structures.

[(b) All farm buildings, and air other outbuildings, with a cost less than $2,500,
shall be exempted from the provisions and regulations of the codes.]

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1995.

AN ACT concerning

Vital Statistics and Records

FOR the purpose of providing for the processing of certain vital records and data;
clarifying certain actions; defining certain terms and revising certain' terms; and
generally relating to vital records.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 4-201, 4-204, 4-205, 4-207, 4-211, 4-212, 4-213, 4-214, and 4-217
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1994 Replacement Volume and 1994 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Health - General

4-201.

(a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.

(B) "ATTENDING PHYSICIAN" MEANS THE PHYSICIAN IN CHARGE OF THE
PATIENT'S CARE FOR THE ILLNESS OR CONDITION WHICH RESULTED IN DEATH.
