AN ACT concerning

Somerset County - Smith Island - Solid Waste District

FOR the purpose of authorizing the County Commissioners of Somerset County to
designate the part of Smith Island in Somerset County as a solid waste district for
the purpose of imposing on improved property a certain fee relating to solid waste
removal; limiting the amount of the fee; providing that the fee shall be compatible
to certain costs incurred by other property owners in the County; specifying certain
procedures relating to the administration and collection of the fee; providing that
the fee constitutes a lien on the property and may be collected in the same manner
as property taxes may be collected; providing that a fee not paid by a certain date is
subject to certain interest charges; and generally relating to authorization for a
certain fee on developed property on Smith Island for solid waste removal.

Section 8-201 and the subtitle "Subtitle 2. Solid Waste Districts", to be under the
amended title "Title 8. Special Districts"
