(b) It is the intent of the legislature that the legal existence of limited liability
partnerships formed and existing under this [Act] TITLE be recognized outside the
boundaries of this State and that the laws of this State governing such limited liability
partnerships transacting business outside this State be granted the protection of full faith
and credit under the Constitution of the United States.
(c) It is the policy of this State that the internal affairs of partnerships, including
limited liability partnerships, formed and existing under this [Act] TITLE, including the
liability of partners for debts, obligations, and liabilities chargeable to partnerships, shall
be subject to and governed by the laws of this State.

(c) The Attorney General also shall appoint an assistant securities commissioner
who, after appointment, shall hold that position subject generally to the provisions of
Division I of the State Personnel AND PENSIONS Article. If a vacancy occurs in the
position of assistant securities commissioner, the vacancy shall be filled by a person
appointed by the Attorney General subject to the provisions of Division I of the State
Personnel AND PENSIONS Article. Each person appointed shall hold his position subject
generally to those provisions.

Article - Courts and Judicial Proceedings
1-703.
(a) Title 6, Subtitle 1 of the State Personnel AND PENSIONS Article applies to
judicial salaries, except for the provisions of § 6-108(c) of the State Personnel AND
PENSIONS Article authorizing pay increases with approval of the Board of Public Works.
