Also in the introductory language of subsection (a) of this section, the former
reference to "information submitted under this subsection", referring to a
submission under former Art. 48A, § 494A(c), is deleted as included in the
general reference to "information and documents filed ... in compliance with
this title".

Also in the introductory language of subsection (a) of this section, the former
reference to "copies" of documents is deleted as included in the reference to
"information and documents".

In subsection (a)(1) of this section, the reference to "confidential material" is
substituted for the former reference to "[material] given confidential
treatment" for clarity.

In subsection (b) of this section, the reference to disclosures by "any person"
is added to clarify that an insurer may give consent for disclosures to any
person.

In subsection (c) of this section, the more general term "make public" is
substituted for the former terms "publish" and "publication" for consistency
throughout this section.

7-107. RIGHT TO HEARING AND APPEAL.

AN INSURER AGGRIEVED BY AN ORDER OF THE COMMISSIONER UNDER THIS
TITLE HAS THE RIGHT TO A HEARING AND THE RIGHT TO APPEAL FROM THE
ACTION OF THE COMMISSIONER UNDER §§ 2-210 THROUGH 2-215 OF THIS ARTICLE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section formerly was Art. 48A, § 499A.

The only changes are in style.

Defined terms: "Commissioner" § 1-101
"Insurer" § 1-101

7-108. POWERS, REMEDIES, PROCEDURES, AND PENALTIES ADDITIONAL TO OTHERS.

THE POWERS, REMEDIES, PROCEDURES, AND PENALTIES PROVIDED IN THIS
TITLE ARE IN ADDITION TO ANY OTHER POWERS, REMEDIES, PROCEDURES, AND
PENALTIES OTHERWISE PROVIDED BY LAW.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section formerly was Art. 48A, § 501.

The former statement that these powers are "not in limitation of" any other
powers, remedies, procedures, and penalties is deleted as surplusage.

The only other changes are in style.
