62. hath given, granted, bargained, sold, conveyed and transfered and by these presents doth give, grant, bargain, sell, convey and transfer unto the said Richard Bowley and John Bowley, their heirs & Assigns forever all the said Major Bowley's right, title, claim and interest in and to an unfinished Vessel now on the stocks on the Steam-Mill wharf in Cambridge and being built by the said Major Bowley in conjunction with the said Richard Bowley and John Bowley and John T. Stewart. Also one Bureau, one Desk, two Beds, Bedsteads & furniture, one dozen Chairs, and all the residue of the Household and kitchen furniture and personal Estate of the said Major Bowley to the only proper use and behoof of the said Richard Bowley & John Bowley their heirs and Assigns forever. To have and to hold the said above described property unto the said Richard Bowley & John Bowley their heirs and Assigns forever against the said Major Bowley and his heirs and against all persons whatever claiming the same or any part thereof. In Witness whereof the said Major Bowley has hereunto subscribed his name and affixed his seal this ninth day of March Eighteen hundred and forty Eight. Be it remembered and it is hereby Certified that on this ninth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty eight personally appears the within and before named Major Bowley before the subscriber, one of the state of Maryland's Justices of the Peace in and for said County and Acknowledged the within Bill of sale or instrument of writing to be his Act and deed and delivered the same for the uses & purposes therein mentioned according to the Act of Assembly in such cases made and provided. And I also further Certify that on the day and year aforesaid Richard Bowley & John Bowley the parties grantee mentioned in the within and aforegoing Bill of sale personally appeared before the subscriber and made Oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God that the consideration mentioned in the said Bill of sale is Bona fide as therein specefied.
