130. presents, in the name of the whole premises hereby bargained and sold, or mentioned and intended so to be, unto the said Peter G. Le Compte, as aforesaid. In Witness whereof the said Abraham Parker hath hereunto set his hand & seal this twenty seventh day of September in the year of Our Lord Eighteen hundred and forty eight. Abraham + Parker (seal) mark On this 27.th ^day^ Sept.r 1848, personally appeared Abraham Parker and acknowledged the above to be his Act and deed and delivered the same for the uses and purposes therein mentioned, according to the Act of Assembly in such case made & provided. Miles Tindal J.r Know all men by these presents that I, Miles Tindal J.r, of Dorchester County in the state of Maryland, in consideration of Natural love and affection which I have and bear unto my beloved Wife, Margaret Tindal, and also for and in consideration of the sum of five dollars, current money, to me in hand paid by the said Margaret Tindal, at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof I, the said Miles Tindall J.r do hereby acknowledge, have given, granted, bargained & sold, and by these presents do give, grant, bargain & sell, unto the said Margaret Tindal, her heirs, executors, Administrators and Assigns, all the goods, Household stuff, implements and furniture, herein particularly mentioned and expressed, that is to say, one Horse, Carriage and Harness, and Household and Kitchen Furniture; and further, All the Goods & chattels in Stone, consisting as follows, Viz. Twenty one pieces brown Muslin, Eleven ditto bleached ditto, thirty one pieces Calico, two ditto Apron Check, two ditto bed Flocking, Three ditto woollen goods, Eight dozen Handkerchiefs, Ten ditto Gloves, three pieces Vesting, two pieces Irish linen, Twelve pair Suspenders, two Hogsheads Molases, three Barrels Whiskey, two ditto Rum, Eighteen Gallons Rum, seventy five lbs Candy, three Kegs Tobacco, four hundred Mackaral, four hundred lbs Bacon, Seventy lbs Lard, two Barrels Crackers, two ditto Flour, one hundred & eighty lbs |
