of the above obligation is such that if the above bounden George W.
Wingate shall well & truly execute the office of Constable in the Town of
Cambridge in Dorchester County in all things appertaining thereto and shall
well and truly account for all monies placed in his hands for collection &
shall also well & truly pay all sums of Money received by him then the
above obligation to be void otherwise of full force & virtue in law.

Dorchester County, To wit:  On the 19.th day of April 1847 personally
appeared before me the subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and for
the County aforesaid John Muir & James Smith and made the
following Oath, To wit:  "We John Muir & James Smith subscribing
Witnesses to the above Bond do make Oath that George W. Wingate,
James Dixon and Thomas Dail obligors mentioned in the said
Bond did severally in our presence sign, seal & delivered the said
Bond as their Act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned."
    Sworn before me on the day above mentioned.
                                                                            Robt. Bell


State of Maryland               Be it remembered that the following Bond
               from      Ex.d       was recorded on the 19.th day of April 1847, To wit:
David M. Todd & others      [Stamp]    Know all men by these presents
                                          [one doll.]   that we David M. Todd, John H.
Hodson and James Woolford of Dorchester County in the State of Maryland
are held and firmly bound unto the State of Maryland in the
full and just sum of Two thousand dollars current money of the
United States to be paid to the said State or its attorney to the which
payment well and truly to be made and done we bind ourselves,
our heirs, executors and administrators jointly & severally firmly
by these presents.   Sealed with our seals & dated this 19.th day of
April 1847.   The Condition of the above obligation is such that if the above
bounden David M. Todd shall well & truly execute the Office of Constable in the Town
of Cambridge in Dorchester County in all things appertaining thereto and shall well & truly
account for all monies placed in his hands for collection and shall also well
and truly pay all sums of money received by him then the above Obligation
