14 acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Jacob Wilson his executors administrators and assigns all the goods wares and merchandize now in the stine house Known by the name of or commonly called Moses Stinehouse consisting of Dry goods groceries hardware cutlery & together with all the residue of goods, etc. contained in said house as also the leasehold I have on the farms whereon Edward Harper now lives and one mantle clock ten barrels corn and two stacks fodder and one half dozen chairs to have and to hold all and singular the said goods and merchandise and other the premises above bargained and sold or mentioned and intended so to be to the said Jacob Wilson his heirs executors admrs and assigns forever and I the said William S Harper for my self my heirs executors admrs & all and singular the said goods &c and other the premises unto the said Jacob Wilson his executors admrs and assigns against me the said William S Harper my executors and administrators and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents of all and singular which said goods and merchandize and this the premises I the said William S Harper have put the said Jacob Wilson in full possesion by delivering to him the said Jacob Wilson one pen knife at the sealing delivering of these presents in the name of the whole premises hereby bargained and sold or mentioned and intended so to be unto him the said Jacob Wilson as aforesaid in witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this nineteenth day of Decr 1842 William S Harper (seal) Test Algernon S. Wheatly State of Maryland Dorchester County to wit Be it remembered that on this ninteenth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and forty two before the subscriber a Justice of the peace of the said state in and for said county personally appeared William S Harper party to the within mentioned and acknowledged the said indenture to be his act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned Samuel Twilley |
