109 Maryland are held and firmly bound unto the state of maryland in the full and just sum of Two thousand Dollars current money of the United States to be paid to the said state or its certain Attorney to the which payment well and truly to be made and done we bind ourselves our heirs executors & administrators jointly and severally firmly by these presents Sealed with our seals and dated this 17 day of april 1843. The Condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bounden Steward Geoghegan shall well and truly execute the office of Constable of Election District no 4 in all things appertaining thereto & shall also well and truly account for all moneys placed in his hands for collection and shall also well and truly pay all sums of money received by him then the obligation to be void otherwise of full force and virtue in law Signed sealed and delivered Stewart Geoghegan (seal) in the presence of Wm R. Tall (seal) John Muir R. C. Robson (seal) John Thompson Dorchester County On the 17 day of April 1843 personally appeared to wit before me the subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and for the County aforesaid John Muir and John Thompson and made the following oath to wit 'We John Muir and John Thompson subscribing witnesses to the above bond do make oath that Stewart Geoghegan William R Tall & Roger C Robson obligors mentioned in the said bond did severally in our presence sign seal and deliver the said bond as their act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned" Sworn before me on the day above mentioned John G Abbott J.P. Bond State of Maryland Be it remembered that the following Bond Ex.d from Paid was recorded on the 17th april 1843 to wit Wm H. Akers Know all men by these presents that we Cyrus Lord & William H. Akers Cyrus Lord & Mathew Matthew Smith Smith of Dorchester County in the state of Maryland are held and firmly bound unto the State of Maryland in the full and just sum of Ten thousand Dollars current money of the United States to be paid to the said state or its certain Attorney to the which payment well and truly to be made and done we bind ourselves our heirs, executors & administrators jointly and severally firmly by these presents sealed with our seals and dated this 17 day of april 1843 The Condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bounden William H Akers shall well and truly execute the office of Constable of Election District no 3 in all things appertaining thereto & shall also well and truly account for all moneys placed in his hands for collection and shall also well and truly pay all sums of money received by him, then |
