Commission
In addition to the appropriation shown on
page 12 of the printed bill (first reading file
bill), to provide funds for grants to
community based organizations such as
Neighborhood Watch. Funds will be utilized
to underwrite about 40 additional
neighborhood groups to purchase such
items as telephones, radios, postage and
newsletters. These programs compliment
the "Community Policing" effort.

23.01.07.01 General Administration
In addition to the appropriation shown on
page 14 of the printed bill (first reading file
bill), to provide funds for the Frail Elderly
Program to prevent premature
institutionalization of frail persons and
provide respite for caregivers so they may
continue working. This would expand
centers called Senior Center Plus with
special programs for the frail.
