Charter Resolution 94-CR-2

A Resolution of the Mayor and Council of the City of College Park, Maryland, to Amend
the City Charter to Require that Proposed Ordinances be Seconded Before They Are
Advertised; Providing for Informational Meetings Relative to Ordinances; Permitting
Publication of Fair Summaries Rather Than Verbatim Publication; Permitting
Amendments to Proposed Ordinances Without the Need of Readvertising in Advance;
Providing for Advertisement in a City Newspaper, and Specifying the Procedure for the
Effective Date of Zoning-Type Ordinances

[Section C8-2(a) of the Charter of the City of College Park, Prince George's
County, as found in the compilation of Municipal Charters of Maryland (1990
Replacement Edition and 1993 Supplement), repealed and reenacted, with amendments.

Effective Date May 11, 1994]

Charter Amendment Resolution 93-1

A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF COTTAGE
CITY, MARYLAND, adopted pursuant to the authority of Article HE of the
Constitution of Maryland and Section 13 of Article 23A, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1957 Edition, as amended) to amend the Charter of the said town, said
Charter being Subtitle or Article 17 of the Public Local Laws of Maryland (1963 Edition,
as amended), which article contains in whole or in part the Charter of the Town of
Cottage City, by amending Section 5 of said Charter so that the numbers of the wards
conform to current usage by the Town.

[Section 5 of the Charter of the Town of Cottage City, Prince George's County, as
found in the compilation of Municipal Charters of Maryland (1990 Replacement Edition
and 1993 Supplement), repealed and reenacted, with amendments.

Effective Date April 1, 1993]

Charter Amendment Resolution 93-2

A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF COTTAGE
CITY, MARYLAND, adopted pursuant to the authority of Article HE of the
Constitution of Maryland and Section 13 of Article 23A, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1957 Edition, as amended) to amend the Charter of the said town, said
Charter being Subtitle or Article 17 of the Public Local Laws of Maryland (1963 Edition,
as amended), which article contains in whole or in part the Charter of the Town of
Cottage City, by amending Section 26 of said Charter so that the requirement that there
be registration of voters on the first Monday of April is eliminated and registration is
allowed during the business hours when the Town office is open.
