SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - State Finance and Procurement

10-205.

FOR PURPOSES OF THE PREPARATION OF THE STATE BUDGET:

(1)     THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS IS AN INDEPENDENT AGENCY; AND

(2)     ALL EXPENSES RELATED TO THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE BOARD
OF PUBLIC WORKS SHALL BE SEPARATELY IDENTIFIED AND INDEPENDENT OF THE
BUDGET OF ANY OTHER STATE AGENCY.

12-101.

(b) (1) The Board may control procurement by units.
