1994, accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign House
Bill 380.

House Bill No. 380
AN ACT concerning
Victim and Witness Protection and Relocation Fund Program
FOR the purpose of establishing a Victim and Witness Protection and Relocation Fund
Program; requiring that the Fund Program be administered by the State's
Attorneys' Coordinator in accordance with certain regulations; providing that the
Fund may requiring that money appropriated to the Program be used for certain
purposes; requiring the State Board of Victim Services to adopt regulations, in
coordination with the State's Attorneys' Coordinator, governing the use of moneys
that are credited or appropriated to the Fund; requiring the State's Attorneys'
Coordinator to cooperate and consult with the State Board of Victim Services in
connection with the adoption of the regulations; State's Attorneys' Coordinator to
consult with the State Board of Victim Services on the administration of the
Program; requiring the State's Attorneys' Coordination Council to adopt
regulations, after consultation with the State Board of Victim Services, governing
the administration of the Program; requiring the State Board of Victim Services to
advise the State's Attorneys' Coordination Council on the adoption of regulations
governing the administration of the Program and to advise the State's Attorneys'
Coordinator on the administration of the Program; requiring the State's Attorneys'
Coordinator to submit an annual report to the State Board of Victim Services;
requiring that certain court costs be deposited in the General Fund during a certain
fiscal year; and generally relating to the establishment of a Victim and Witness
Protection and Relocation Fund Program.
