SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1994.

May 26, 1994

The Honorable Thomas V. Mike Miller, Jr.

President of the Senate

State House

Annapolis, Maryland 21401

Dear President Miller:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland Constitution, I have today
vetoed Senate Bill 857.

Senate Bill 857 would name the international terminal at Baltimore-Washington
International Airport the "Governor William Donald Schaefer International Terminal."

House Bill 1694, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by me on May 26,
1994, accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign Senate
Bill 857.

Sincerely,

William Donald Schaefer

Governor

Senate Bill No. 857

AN ACT concerning

Transportation - BWI Airport - "Governor William Donald Schaefer International

Terminal"

FOR the purpose of naming the international terminal at Baltimore-Washington
International Airport the "Governor William Donald Schaefer International
Terminal".
