THE PROVISION OF THE SERVICES DESCRIBED IN ITEMS (1) THROUGH (6) OF THIS
SECTION.

THE FUNDS DESIGNATED FOR THE PROVISION OF LOCAL HEALTH SERVICES
UNDER THIS SUBTITLE MAY NOT BE TRANSFERRED TO ANY OTHER PROGRAM FOR ANY
OTHER PURPOSE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section(s) 15-101 through
15-105 and the title "Title 15. Local Health Services" of Article 24 -Political Subdivisions -
Miscellaneous Provisions of the Annotated Code of Maryland (as enacted by Chapter 3 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of 1994) be repealed.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Chapter(s) 593 of the Acts of
the General Assembly of 1993 be repealed.

SECTION 6. 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1994.

Dear Mr. President:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland Constitution, I have today
vetoed Senate Bill 545.

This bill would extend the deadline for the Task Force to Study Health
Professional-Client Sexual Exploitation to issue a final report from January 1,1995 to
January 1, 1996.

House Bill 750, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by me on May 26,
1994, accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign Senate
Bill 545.
