Board to distribute to each current licensee or certificate holder copies of each Board's
respective Act, rules, and regulations.
House Bill 989, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by me on May 26,
1994, accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign Senate
Bill 284.

AN ACT concerning
Architects, Certified Interior Designers, Landscape Architects, and Professional
Engineers - Boards - Duties
FOR the purpose of requiring the State Board of Architects, the State Board of Certified
Interior Designers, the State Board of Examiners of Landscape Architects, and the
State Board of Professional Engineers to keep a list of the names and mailing
addresses of all licensees and certificate holders; requiring certain individuals to
designate certain mailing addresses; requiring the Boards to distribute the list under
certain circumstances; requiring the Boards to provide certain written information
to certain individuals; authorizing the Boards to jointly publish certain newsletters;
requiring the Boards to distribute to certain individuals a copy of certain
information on the effective date of this Act; and generally relating to the duties of
the State Board of Architects, the State Board of Certified Interior Designers, the
State Board of Examiners of Landscape Architects, and the State Board of
Professional Engineers.
