AN ACT concerning

CHAPTER 726
(House Bill 238)

Wicomico County - Alcoholic Beverages
(License Fees)

FOR the purpose of altering in Wicomico County the annual fees for certain classes of
alcoholic beverages licenses; clarifying language and structure: making this Act an
emergency measure; and generally relating to alcoholic beverages in Wicomico
County.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 8(x), 9(x), 10(x), 11(x), 13(x), 14(x), 15(x), 16(x), 18(x), 19(x)(1), (2)(ii), and

(3)(ii), 20(x)(2)(i) and (iii), 21(1), 24C(b), and 39-O(d)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

8.

(x) (1) This subsection applies in Wicomico County.

(2)     The annual license fee for a six day license is [$150] $175.

(3)     The annual license fee for a seven day license is [$250] $275.

(4)     A person may not hold a license under the provisions of this subsection
upon any premises having any direct or indirect connection with any drug or
pharmaceutical, or other business establishments of a type commonly known as or
referred to as drugstore.

(x) In Wicomico County the annual license fee is [$250] $275.
